People Who Are Hurt Can’t Recognize Sincerity
I have often said that it can be relatively easy to forgive, but it is real tough to forget. True forgiveness comes when a person can live with the ongoing consequences of another person’s actions. Sometimes that’s tough to do, like when a drunk driver crashes into you kids car and leaves him or her a quadriplegic you want to forgive the person who crashed into the car, but seeing your child in a wheel chair for life can get real hard to take. It is very easy to profess forgiveness, but often as people we don’t always live what we profess, we live what we believe, and even the smallest amount of stress can reveal our true beliefs and yes our true character.
Societies Morality Can’t Keep Up With Technology
A student is accused of posing as a girl on Facebook, tricking at least 31 male classmates into sending him naked photos of themselves and then blackmailing some for sex acts. Anthony Stancl, 18, of New Berlin, west of Milwaukee, was charged with five counts of child enticement, two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, two counts of third-degree sexual assault, possession of child pornography, repeated sexual assault of the same child and making a bomb threat. A survey of 1,280 teenagers (users age 13-19) and young adults (age 20-26) conducted by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and CosmoGirl.com has revealed that one out of five (20 percent) teens overall have posted nude photos or video of themselves on the Internet-that number goes up to a third when young adults are included. While 71 percent of teen girls and 67 percent of teen guys who have sent these photos say they’ve sent them to a boyfriend or girlfriend, 15 percent overall said they’ve sent nude photos to people they only “knew” online. For women, that percentage stays the same when they turn into young adults, although the percentage of young adult men goes up to 23 percent.
Children Need To Be Supervised - At Any Age
It’s really a great thing when our kids get older, I mean like 14-18, they have a sense of independence and are quite self sufficient. They start driving at 17 years old and can now get themselves where they want to go, they can hold down a part time job, and can be trusted to baby sit their younger siblings. As a parent we have to be cautious though because they still need supervision. Teenagers haven’t lived long enough to realize the dangers of certain activities and they lack a character quality that may only develop over a period of many years, and that’s self-control. To be quite honest there are some adults who don’t posses this quality and experience difficulty in this area their whole life. A person just has to look around in society to discover the number of marriages that have been wrecked by affairs or alcoholism.

Clint Eastwood says, “America Has Gone Soft”
Clint Eastwood sorely misses his tough youth, insisting America has gone soft since. The 78-year-old actor claims life was simpler and easier in his upbringing during the depression - when problems were solved using fists rather than a therapist’s couch. Eastwood tells the January edition of Esquire magazine, “Everyone’s become used to saying, ‘well, how do we handle it psychologically?’” In those days you punched the bully back and duked it out. People were tougher then.” I was a shy kid. But a lot of my childhood was spent punching the bullies out.”
