SERVICES FOR YOUR SCHOOL

BEHAVIORAL COACHING

Nothing is more frustrating for administration than to work with staff that has difficulty with student discipline and classroom management. If student behavior is out of control, that will impact the entire educational environment. It will reduce test scores, create safety issues, reduce retention of staff, and create a negative climate. Proactive Educational Concepts will provide a trained behavioral coach who will work one on one with staff members who are experiencing difficulty in this area.

TEACHER MENTORING

A state- certified principal will provide mentoring for first year teachers and administrators.

Why Is The College Of New Jersey Being Held Liable For This?

John Fiocco Jr., who was a freshman at The College of New Jersey two years ago, was last seen alive on March 25, 2006 in his dorm room after returning from an off-campus party where he was said to have been drinking. Soon after, some of his blood was found on a trash compactor, and then police went to a landfill in Bucks County, PA to search for his body, which they subsequently found. No final determination was ever made as to how this young man died- if it was a homicide or an accident.

Bullying In Schools

Get Your Bullying Report Online Right Now !

Bullying in schools is a worldwide problem that can have negative consequences for the general school climate and for the right of students to learn in a safe environment without fear. School Bullying can also have negative lifelong consequences–both for students who bully and for their victims. National statistics have revealed that 75% of teachers believe that they intervened in a school bullying incident, but only 25% of students believe that their teachers have intervened to stop bullying from occurring. Why is the perception between students and teachers so different? In order to answer this question I think we have to understand the interventions that are used to stop bullying. School Bullying is comprised of direct behaviors such as teasing, taunting, threatening, hitting, and stealing that are initiated by one or more students against a victim. In addition to direct attacks, bullying may also be more indirect by causing a student to be socially isolated through intentional exclusion.
